The primary activities of Benefits Advantage, Inc. include design, funding, communication, and administration of Medical, Group Life, Dental, Disability, Voluntary benefits, Long Term Care, and Retirement benefits plans.

We work directly with senior management of our clients to identify clear objectives for their employee benefits as the “first step” in the planning process.  These objectives are then expanded through the design process into benefit plans with the unique features necessary to achieve the results required by our clients.

After the design process, we work with a wide variety of providers on a competitive bidding basis to identify the best funding methods for insured and self-insured plans.  We routinely evaluate Proposals from the leading insurance companies, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, health maintenance organizations (HMO's), and third-party administration (TPA) firms.

The next step is to help produce an effective benefits communication program.  We add our creative resources to those of our clients, insurance companies, and other outside professionals; such as advertising agencies and printers.

On an ongoing basis, we help our clients with premium billing procedures, claims administration, claim experience review systems, renewal rating evaluations, and other administration services.

While we prefer to conduct all of the above activities for our clients, it is sometimes possible for us to provide one or more of these services without the complete planning and implementation process.

We have more than thirty years experience helping clients with employee benefits plans.

Our fees are normally paid through insurance company commissions, but time and expense billing arrangements are also used when requested by our clients.
